During this event, Jetsun Khandro Rinpoche will share how the path of Mahamudra can be practiced in the modern world, helping us understand how to transcend suffering by connecting with the pure nature that embraces all of our experiences.

Mindrolling Jetsün Khandro Rinpoche is the eldest daughter of Kyabje Mindrolling Trichen Rinpoche, the 11th throne holder of the Mindrolling lineage, which has throughout its unique history had many accomplished and inspirational female masters. Rinpoche was also recognized by H. H. the 16th Gyalwang Karmapa as the reincarnation of the Great Dakini of Tsurphu, Khandro Ugyen Tsomo, a respected and revered female master of her time widely understood to be an embodiment of the wisdom and compassion central to the Tibetan Buddhist path.
Along with her sister, Mindrolling Jetsün Dechen Paldrön, Khandro Rinpoche founded Samten Tse Nunnery and Retreat Center in India in 1993, which provides study and practice opportunities for nuns and lay practitioners alike. She has also taught internationally for over 30 years and has established centers throughout North America and Europe, including the North American seat of Mindrolling International, Mindrolling Lotus Garden Retreat Center in Stanley, VA, USA. Most recently, Rinpoche launched the Mindrol Lekshey Training Program which aims to provide training in classical Tibetan Buddhist disciplines to dedicated lay practitioners from all over the world.
