Translation

This event is offered in english only.

You know the supreme path that is free from coming and going, And you teach the true nature of all phenomena, While never leaving a single being out of your compassion’s embrace, Great mother, noble Tara, I bow at your feet. — Khenpo Tsultrim Gyamtso Rinpoche

Join George Hughes and Kunsang Palmo to explore the Path of Liberation Level 5 in this 4-week workshop. We will discuss the major themes and practices of the level, including the development stage, the completion stage, White Tara practice, and more. We will also practice the White Tara liturgy — Radiance of the Heart — composed by Mingyur Rinpoche and clarify any questions that may come up along the way.

What will I learn?

In this workshop, you will learn about:

  • the development stage with its three principles of stable pride, clear imagination, and recollection of purity
  • the completion stage with and without marks
  • the three samadhis
  • how to practice in accordance with the three different types of personalities
  • how to practice The Radiance of the Heart as a daily practice

What is included in this workshop?

  • Live teachings and Q&A with Tergar guides
  • Guided group meditation
  • Large and small group discussions

George Hughes

Beginning his journey into meditation and the wisdom traditions as a teenager, George Hughes has been a practitioner and teacher in several traditions. He found his spiritual home with his root teacher, Mingyur Rinpoche, and has dedicated his life to sharing his profound teachings. In particular, George draws inspiration from the joy, levity, and simplicity of Rinpoche’s approach.

George has worked with Mingyur Rinpoche for many years, teaching his Joy of Living and Path of Liberation curriculums around the world, including to groups in the US, Brazil, and Nepal. Additionally, George has taught yoga, massage, and other holistic healing modalities.

In addition to his current role on the faculty of Tergar Institute, George has worked with Mingyur Rinpoche on a variety of projects, including guiding a series of treks through the Himalayas to help support Rinpoche’s social engagement projects. George’s passion for the dharma and meditation extends to all aspects of his life.
